Microsoft To-Do is one of the popular cross-platform productivity application. Microsoft has finally added Mac support for To-Do over the weekend. Mac users can now download the Microsoft To-Do app from the app store instead of accessing it on the web browser.
Microsoft To-Do is a productivity tool that allows you to create color-coded to-do lists. The best part is that this list can be shared with others on a real-time basis and all the members can collaborate. Until now, Microsoft To-Do was available for Windows 10, Android, iOS and web browsers, and now Mac is added to the list. You can download Microsoft To-Do from the Mac App Store.
Microsoft has retained the design and layout of the menu items on the To-Do Mac version. The app opens up with a clean ‘My Day’ view as default. This view populates and displays all your tasks that are due today. You will also be able to set one-time tasks, recurring tasks, and color-coded lists.
Microsoft is working towards adding new features to the To-Do app. Earlier this year they added a feature that let you attach files of up to 25MB to any task. With the Mac added to the list, To-Do is now available on all major platforms. It is worth noting that Microsoft bought Wunderlist in 2015 and apparently implemented some of the key features on To-Do. The app is known for superlative integration with other Microsoft services like Outlook and OneDrive.[via Thurott]
