Nintendo has announced that it will be launching Dr. Mario World for iOS and Android on July 10th. The game will be available as a free download with IAPs.
The game was originally announced in January this year. It is based on the 1990 puzzle game Dr. Mario in which players need to arrange different color pills falling from the top with viruses to eliminate them from the screen.
The game will use Diamonds as its currency using which players can buy in-game items. There is a stamina meter in the game which is automatically exhausted if you play the game repeatedly. You can fill this stamina meter using diamonds or exit the game and then come back later.
The game requires one to have access to a constant internet connection while being played. This means if you don’t have access to an internet connection, you won’t be able to play Dr. Mario World on your iPhone or iPad.
Dr. Mario World will be Nintendo’s first mobile title release for 2019. It has another game scheduled to release in Summer 2019: Mario Kart Tour.
You can find more information about Dr. Mario World over at its dedicated website launched by Nintendo. Pre-registrations for Dr. Mario World have started on the App Store.
