Our Take

Cryptocurrency and Blockchain rose to popularity after Bitcoin hit an all-time high in 2018. Initially, tech companies like Facebook seemed averse to the idea of supporting cryptocurrency ads. Facebook let go of its initial reservation and recently announced a plan to launch its own cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, Opera has been very vocal about its plans to launch a cryptocurrency based browser. The company had also put up an invitation for beta testers. Thanks to Opera Touch, iOS users can finally get a taste of decentralized apps and explore the joy of the decentralized world without having to install third-party add-ons.
