Apple Seemingly Starts Rolling Out Support for Siri Live Radio Station on iPhone and HomePod

At WWDC, Apple announced that Siri on iOS and HomePod will gain support for over 100,000 live stations from iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and Radio.com It was initially assumed that this feature would be rolled out once iOS 13 was released to the public later this year. However, it looks like Apple has already started rolling out this feature.

As reported by Macerkopf.de, many iPhone and HomePod users in Germany have been successfully able to play live national radio stations using Siri on iOS 12. The feature is also working for some iPhone and HomePod users outside of Germany. Apple still highlights on the HomePod page that the feature will be available this fall.

Apple states that once the feature is rolled out this fall, over 100,000 stations will be available via Siri to iPhone and HomePod users. It is possible that the company is slowly rolling out the feature and testing it out before starting a wider global rollout around the time iOS 13 is released to the public.

Alongside iOS 13, Apple will also release an update for the HomePod in September which will add useful features like music hand-off, multi-user support with the ability to recognize six different voices, and more.
