The upcoming iPhone 11 has been leaked in various forms. The case maker dummies along with renders offered us a glimpse of how the future iPhones will look like. Popular YouTuber, MKBHD has uploaded a video wherein he shows and discusses the dummy units of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max and iPhone 11R.
The triple rear camera unit on the iPhone 11 and the 11 Max is housed within a camera bump. The updated imaging setup is likely to include an ultra-wide-angle lens which offers a wider field of view. MKBHD has procured the dummy units from Sonny Dickson.
Meanwhile, iPhone 11R is expected to get a bump in camera specs. The new iPhone is likely to offer a dual-camera setup as opposed to the single-camera unit on the iPhone XR. Despite the dual-lens setup, the iPhone 11R is also expected to feature a camera bump. All said and done, the video helps us understand how the upcoming iPhone would look and feel in hand.
The 2019 iPhones are expected to be powered by A13 chip fabricated by TSMC and improved OLED display. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had claimed that Apple will switch to a new frosted glass back, however, we don’t get to see it in the video. As far as the battery is concerned, the 2019 iPhones will come with bigger batteries and support wireless reverse charging. This will allow users to charge other devices wirelessly with iPhone.
I have mixed feelings about the 2019 iPhone design. The camera bump looks ugly and doesn’t seem to flow with the design. What do you think about the camera bump? Let us know in the comments below.
