Two weeks after making the Apple Card available as a preview to selected customers in the United States, Apple has now made Apple Card available to all iPhone customers.
If you live in the United States and own an iPhone, you can sign up for Apple Card using the Wallet app right away. Apple and Goldman Sachs are approving Apple Card applications in almost real-time so you should be ready to start using your Apple Card in no time.
“We’re thrilled with the overwhelming interest in Apple Card and its positive reception,” said Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple Pay. “Customers have told us they love Apple Card’s simplicity and how it gives them a better view of their spending.”
As a part of the launch, Apple also announced that it will be giving customers 3% Daily Cash cashback for Uber and Uber Eats transactions. Up until now, Apple Card was only offering 3% cashback on transactions done at the Apple Store. Transactions conducted with the physical titanium Apple Card, however, will only get 1% Daily Cash.
The whole USP of Apple Card is that there are no fees whatsoever including joining fee, late payment fee, etc. It will also feature tight integration with the Wallet app on your iPhone which will show detailed information about all your transactions, including the location, amount, merchant etc.
As reports have indicated, Apple is approving Apple Card applications for customers with less than ideal credit scores.
Apple Card is available for all owners of iPhone running iOS 12.4 or higher in the United States.
