The physical Apple Card is definitely unique because unlike other traditional credit cards, it is made from titanium. This means its build quality is simply unrivaled by any other card in the market. However, that build quality seems to come at a price as you will have to baby your physical Apple Card if you intend to keep it in pristine condition.
As a support document uploaded by Apple today highlights, you should try and avoid putting your Apple Card in contact with loose change, keys, or other abrasive objects as they could damage the white coating on top of the titanium card. Apple also notes that fabrics like denim and leather can cause permanent discoloration of your physical Apple Card so you should avoid contact with them as well.
While you can simply wipe a traditional credit card against your shirt or jeans, you will have to be extra careful with the Apple Card. The Cupertino company recommends using a lint-free microfiber cloth which can be dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean the physical Apple Card. Using compressed air, household cleaners, etc. are strictly not recommended.
Apple recommends storing your Apple Card in a wallet, pocket, or a bag made of soft materials to safely carry it with you. It also recommends against placing or storing your Apple Card near magnets since it can harm the magnetic stripe of the card.
If you plan on getting a physical Apple Card, you should definitely go through the points highlighted by Apple in its support document.
