Apple has released iOS 13.1 developer beta which signals the end of iOS 13 beta releases. The company has also released the eighth beta for tvOS 13 and ninth beta for watchOS 6. It is interesting to see that Apple has proceeded for iOS 13.1 beta testing. This is the first time Apple has proceeded with developer beta without releasing the final version of the previous iOS.

New Dynamic Wallpaper
Apple has made some changes to the Dynamic Wallpaper. It has changed the color shifts and overall look for some of the wallpapers. Starting with iOS 13.1, Dynamic Wallpaper will also be available on older devices.
Shortcut Automation Makes a Comeback
Automation is a cool feature that lets you automate tasks on iOS. It also lets you create home automation and automation that are triggered when certain conditions are met. This feature was removed from iOS 13 and is finally added back on iOS 13.1.
Volume Icon for Connected Devices
Until now only the battery level for connected devices was shown. Now the volume slider icon will show AirPods volume level.
Share ETA in Maps is back
Share ETA was one of the features that were removed and sorely missed on iOS 13 beta. Thankfully Apple has added the feature back on iOS 13.1. With the help of the ETA feature, you can share the estimated time of your arrival with family and friends.
Revamped option for checking which playlist is playing
Checking which playlist is playing on Apple Music is easy. The latest beta lets you directly skip to a playlist and also shows which playlist is currently playing.
Beta Apps now marked with a yellow circle/dot
Apple is now marking beta apps with a yellow dot/circle. Please note that the color of dot changes with the wallpaper.
Updated Wording for Personal Hotspot
Personal Hotspot wording in the setting menu has been updated. In the latest beta, the toggle reads “Allow Others to Join” instead of “Personal Hotspot.”
