As we near Apple’s September launch event, new iPhones, Mac and Apple Watch have been listed on the Eurasian database. The database has been accurate previously and the new filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission reveal the model number as well. The Eurasian Commission mandates fillings before releasing any encrypted device in the region.
The database lists new iPhone models as A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, A2223, A2296, and A2298. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch variants come bearing A2156, A2157, A2092, and A2093 model numbers. It is worth noting that new iPhones will run iOS 13 whilst Apple Watch will run watchOS 6.
As far as Mac is concerned the model numbers have already been revealed in earlier fillings. The only difference is that they were listed as running macOS Mojave and now it is changed to macOS Catalina. Similarly, the iPhones were also listed to run iOS 12 and this has now been changed to reflect iOS 13.
This is the first time Apple Watch model numbers have appeared on the Eurasian listing. Sadly the filings don’t mention the name and we may have to wait for the launch event to learn the same. Apple is expected to name the new devices as iPhone 11, and iPhone 11 Max. However, there is no inkling on the name for iPhone XR successor. Moreover, it is rumored that all three variants of new iPhones will come equipped with the triple rear camera sensor and a newly designed layout for the camera unit.
