Apple TV+ will be available for all Apple users starting from November 1. You can download the app or stream content directly on your web browser. At the time of launch, Apple TV+ will be available in more than 100 countries.

Apple TV+ Original Shows

Apple is already working with a slew of writers, producers, and directors to share their stories. The streaming service will also air a documentary series titled Prehistoric Planet. The series is jointly produced by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King, The Jungle Book) and Mike Gunton of Planet Earth II fame. That apart Apple TV+ will also offer the following shows,

  •  “The Morning Show” alone which stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell.
  • Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories
  • “See” with Jason Momoa
  • “Truth Be Told” with Octavia Spencer
  • “Home.,” a documentary series about extravagant houses

As per earlier reports, each episode of some of the shows has cost Apple more than $15 million. This is even higher than “Game of Thrones” which reportedly cost $15 million per episode in the final season.

Apple TV+ Features

Most importantly, Apple TV+ will allow for offline viewing of content and like other streaming services there will be restrictions on the total number of downloads for a particular movie or show. Viewers will see messages like “Download Limit reached for ‘The Morning Show’ Season 1 Episode 1.”

Apple is considering adopting a new release strategy for its shows on Apple TV+. To begin with, three episodes of a series/season will be released in the first go followed by one new episode every week.
