Top iOS 13 Features
iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 are one of the biggest update rolled out by Apple in the recent past. For the first time, Apple has finally developed an operating system meant for iPad. With the iPadOS 13, iPad users will be able to multitask and open multiple apps side-by-side. Let us take a closer look at all the new features that iOS 13 has to offer.
1. Sign in With Apple
Sign in with Apple will let users create an account in an app or a website without giving out any personal information. Apple will authenticate the user with Face ID or Touch ID and that will be it.
Optionally, an app can ask for the email address for the user. Here too Apple can generate a unique email address for every app and then forward you the email from.
2. New Find My App
The weirdly named app is the amalgamation of the Find my iPhone And Find my Friends app. And it works with finding even devices that are offline. It uses Bluetooth beacons that send encrypted traffic from one device to another in the network.
3. Redesigned Volume HUD
The new Volume HUD appears in the top-left corner of the screen in an unintrusive manner. It first shows up as a full-sized slide. But it immediately shrinks and becomes unintrusive.
4. Improved Safari
Safari has received a major update in iOS 13 and iPadOS 13. It now features a dedicated Download manager which means one can now use the browser to download files.
On iPadOS 13, Safari will now load the desktop version of websites to offer a better browsing experience.
The stock keyboard in iOS 13 has finally gained gesture-based typing known as QuickPath. This is similar to the swipe-based typing experience offered by SwiftKey and Gboard.
