When Apple announced the release date of iOS 13 at its ‘By Innovation Only’ iPhone 11 event, it also announced that it would drop iOS 13.1 to the public on September 30th. However, on the very day that iOS 13 was released to the public, Apple announced that it is pushing forward the release date of iOS 13.1 to September 24.
It is very unusual and uncharacteristic of Apple to push forward the release of a software update. The company is usually known for delaying the release of its products and not the other way around. Anyways, due to the sheer number of bugs being reported in iOS 13, it is understandable that Apple decided to push forward the iOS 13.1 release.
Cannot wait for iOS 13.1 and wondering when it will be released? Going by Apple’s track record, iOS 13.1 will release at around 10 AM PST/1 PM EST on September 24. Apple has released all of its major software updates at around the same time including iOS 13 last week.
