iOS 13 comes with a host of new features and performance improvements. Game developers behind Battlegrounds (PUBG), Fortnite are warning users to steer away from iOS 13. The reason for this us a bug that interrupts the gameplay when the screen is touched with three fingers.
The good news is that Apple is fixing the issue on iOS 13.1 which will be released on September 24th. The text-editing bug will cause unintended touch during gameplays. While the bug affects other apps, it is more pronounced in games like PUBG since it is common to use three fingers on the display. Apparently the bug affects the game to such an extent that the developers are warning iOS users to refrain updating to iOS 13.
We're aware of an issue where the in-client viewing option for the Fortnite Champion Series is not available in the Lobby when the Arena playlist is selected.
You can access in-client viewing with any other playlist being selected.

Sadly there is no way you can disable the text editing gesture. The gesture appears when you put three fingers on the screen and offers functions like cut-copy-paste-undo-redo on iOS 13. The problem when you use three fingers simultaneously while playing games like PUBG as the iOS 13 detects it as text editing gesture. With no workarounds insight, all you can do is wait for Apple to fix the issue in iOS 13.1.
As expected Fortnite and PUBG players are expressing their wrath on social media. On the other hand, developers have their hands tied and will have to wait for Apple to fix the issue on iOS 13.1. Have you updated your device to iOS 13 yet? If yes then let us know about the experience in comments below.
