This time around, Apple started accepting pre-orders for not one or two but three iPhones at the same time: the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. While the iPhone 11 Pro series is meant for pro users, the iPhone 11 is meant for casual users who don’t need that excellent display or the additional flexibility of the triple-camera system.
The iPhone 11 Pro is obviously the better handset here but it is also significantly more expensive. The iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999 while the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at $1,099. And that’s for the 64GB variant. The 256GB and 512GB variants of these phones are even more expensive.
The iPhone 11, in comparison, has a notably lower price tag that starts from $699. Apple even dropped the price by $50 for the iPhone XR successor this time around which makes it an even more tempting device. The iPhone 11 does make a few compromises for its lower price tag — it uses an aluminum chassis, a lower quality and resolution Liquid Retina LCD display, packs only 4GB RAM, skips on the triple-camera system for a dual-camera one, and skips the 18W fast charger in favor of a 5W one. Yet, many customers will likely opt for the iPhone 11 over the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro series.
Now that it has been a few hours since the iPhone 11 series went up for pre-order, which phone did you pre-order — the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or the iPhone 11 Pro Max? Which color and storage variant did you go with? And why? Or have you made up your mind on which variant you will buy but decided against pre-ordering it and instead plan on getting the phone on launch day from your nearest Apple store after reading all the reviews? Or you are just too satisfied with your existing iPhone and are not looking to upgrade at all? Take part in our polls below and make sure to drop a comment and let us know as well!
