After initially being announced on September 12th, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro went on sale on September 20th. Now that the devices are out for almost three weeks, what are your thoughts on them? How happy are you with your iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro?
Before Apple announced the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, I was not expecting this year’s iPhones to set the sales chart on fire. As per leaks, they were looking like a modest upgrade that did not bring anything new or innovative to the table. However, once you get your hands on the iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro, you will realize that these phones are a sum of their parts.
The combination of the beautiful Super Retina XDR display, fast A13 Bionic chip, triple-camera system, and long battery life means the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max are easily among the best smartphones in the market right now. The iPhone 11 is equally great for someone who is on a budget as it offers almost the same experience as its more expensive siblings.
The battery life of the iPhone 11 Pro series is easily one of their key highlights. Apple surprised many when it announced that the iPhone 11 Pro lasts about 4 hours longer than the iPhone XS, with the iPhone 11 Pro Max lasting five hours more than the XS Max. This essentially means that these phones are more than able to make it through a day of heavy use without triggering one’s battery anxiety. Plus, the inclusion of an 18W fast charger with the phones means they charge from 0-50% in just 30 minutes which the majority of the iPhone owners are going to experience for the first time.
I am not going to sing praises for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro though. I do feel that Apple should have added a Night mode for the ultra-wide angle camera as well since this is something that you will get on almost every flagship Android device. Similarly, the lack of reverse wireless charging on these phones is a bummer especially for folks who use an AirPods and Apple Watch. I am not even going to get started about Apple shipping the iPhone 11 Pro with Lightning connector instead of USB-C and calling it a ‘pro’ iPhone.
How happy are you with your iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro? What are some of your complaints with the device? Drop a comment to let us know about it!
