Report: 2020 Apple Watch Will Offer Better Performance, Improved Water Resistance

Apple Watch Series 5 was released just a couple of months ago. Rumor mills have already started reporting about next year’s Apple Watch. The research note with investor TF International Securities reveals many interesting details about the 2020 Apple Watch.

The report predicts that the 2020 Apple Watch will offer better performance, improved water resistance, a better wireless transmission system that leads to faster Wi-Fi and LTE speeds. Kuo also mentions that Apple Watch Series 5’s liquid crystal polymer is a segue for new features on the 2020 Apple Watch. Needless to say, the 2020 Apple Watch will be unveiled in fall next year and we are pretty sure that rumor mills will reveal more details in the near future.

While commenting about the supply chain for Apple Watch Series 6, Kuo said that the new models will be powered by a faster S-chip. This year Apple didn’t focus much on performance improvements and instead baked in compass and always-on display. In other words, the 2020 Apple Watch will come with a performance bump and a couple of new features.

Apple Watch Series 5 can be submerged into depths of up to 50 meters and can be used while swimming.
