Apple has sent out an email informing customers that the 2019 Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR will go on sale starting December 10. The company had announced in early November that its latest Mac Pro and pro display will go on sale in December.
Apple’s email does not contain any more details about the pricing of the BTO (Build-to-Order) units of the Mac Pro. All these details will likely be available on December 10th when the machine launches.
The base variant of the machine starts at $5,999 and packs an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and a Radeon 580X.

The Pro Display XDR also goes on sale on December 10th. It has a starting price tag of $4,999, with customers required to buy the Pro Stand separately for $999. There’s also a cheaper VESA mount available for $199. The nano-texture matte coating variant of the Pro Display XDR costs $5,999.
Apple had first announced the 2019 Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR at WWDC 2019. The Mac Pro has a modular design making future upgrades easy. It can be configured with up to 1.5TB RAM, 8TB storage, and 64-core Intel Xeon processor. The pricing of the high-end Mac Pro is not yet known but it will likely be at least $20,000-30,000.
