Pandora is a music streaming service in the United States that was acquired by SiriusXM in 2018. Pandora also offers a free ad-supported radio and multiple paid tiers. Now with the Apple Watch app users will be able to listen to music, stations, and podcasts directly from the Apple Watch. Pandora’s previous major update was released last year and the iOS app offered personalization features, Dark Mode on iOS 13, and deeper Siri integration.
Pandora’s userbase is reportedly dwindling from the past few years. Last year, a report claimed that Pandora’s userbase was reduced to a quarter of Spotify’s. This apparently happened after 1.8M Pandora users abandoned the platform in just three months. However, the music streaming company seems to be pulling its socks up and recently announced a new Pandora desktop app for Mac. And now the standalone Apple Watch app.
