iOS 11 was a rough version for the jailbreaking community, with a working jailbreak showing up pretty late in its life cycle. Right now, CoolStar’s Electra jailbreak is the only way to jailbreak any iPhone or iPad running iOS 11 – 11.1.2 device. However, we might soon see a jailbreak being available for iOS 11.3.1 as well.
The jailbreaking scene for iOS 11 has recently picked up steam with some potential iOS 11 jailbreaks being demoed along with the first developer beta of Installer 5 being released. Today, Activator Installer for iOS 11 has also been released.
As promised by the AppTapp team, the first developer beta of Installer 5 has been released. Billed as the Cydia alternative, Installer 5 is a fully featured package manager for jailbroken iOS devices running iOS 8 – iOS 11.
