For fans of Apple products, the yearly refresh can be a torturous stretch of time, especially as the leaks and rumors about what’s coming next start to trickle out. A new comic has aptly represented what it’s like for many people as they pick up their next “iThing,” but ultimately start waiting for what’s next.
Yesterday Oprah told the world she loved the Microsoft Surface and she had already bought 12 for gifts. Some eagle-eye folks caught a little, umm, flaw in her gushing love for the Surface. She sent it from her iPad.
You know, it wasn’t just employees and Apple fans who had to learn about Scott Forstall’s departure…
Or weep. Oh we Apple fans are so often accused of just being sheep, buying what ever Cupertino pushes out. The iCoffee cup and iCoffee Maker? Sign me up! But really, sometimes we have to laugh at some of the absurdity that is, well, Apple.
First gen iPad (my mom has that one), 2nd Gen (my wife got for last Christmas), 3rd Gen (what I’m rocking’…for now), and now the iPad mini. Lots of variety there…but maybe Conan O’Brien is right. I think we need more choice.
