Animojis are fun. But they’re quite limited. There are half a dozen characters, and they can only be used in a limited setting inside the Messages app. But in iOS 12 Apple introduced Memoji! It’s Apple’s take on Bitmoji like customizable Animojis which are way more lifelike.

Given how tightly Apple controls every aspect of iOS, users have to wait for a major release of the OS in hope that Apple has fixed some major annoyances with the OS. iOS 11 was no different in this regard. Apple does not allow third-party apps access to SMSes and call logs so there was no way for the Do Not Disturb app from TRAI to work in iOS. In iOS 12 though, Apple has made a small change which is going to make this possible.
