iPhone Syncing Problem Reported With Intel P55 Powered Windows 7 Computers

iPhone syncing problem with PC running Windows 7 and Intel P55 chipset

A lot many iPhone users have been reporting on the Apple Support forum that they have been facing trouble in syncing their iPhones to iTunes 9. 

The root cause of this issue is yet to be resolved, however, based on the complainants' computer configurations, it is doubted to be an issue with Windows 7 built with Intel P55 chipset.

Now Vodafone Also Announces Partnership To Sell iPhones in UK

Vodafone announces partnership with Apple to bring iPhone to UK and Ireleand

We had just written about the end of O2 exclusivity in the UK with Orange entering into a partnership with Apple to sell iPhones in the country from sometime later this year. Soon after comes the announcement from Vodafone that their agreement with Apple is also through and the Newbury, UK based company shall be bringing iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to their UK and Ireland customers from early 2010.

FASB Approves Accounting Rule Change - Apple To Adopt Changes Soon

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the entity that is responsible for setting accounting standards in United States, voted this week on a proposal to move to a new accounting principle. The result was a thumping 5-0 verdict in favor of the change which is seen as a major boost to the way Apple can now account for the sale of its iPhone.

AutoDesk Releases Painting And Drawing App SketchBook Mobile For iPhone

The world of graphical designers have always sworn by the supremacy of the Mac over the Personal computer in producing the best designs. Now looks like the iPhone is soon turning out to become the mobile phone illustration platform. 

After Layers and Brushes (which was used to create the painting that made it to the cover of New Yorker magazine), the SketchBook Mobile painting and drawing application is now available on the iPhone App store

Apple's special event "It’s only rock and roll, but we like it" should be underway shortly.

Apple is expected to unveil the next generation New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle. It is also speculated that Apple will announce the release date of iPhone OS 3.1.

Apple's special event is being held at at the Yerba Buena Centre for Arts in San Francisco.

Apple Approves Toktumi's Line 2 iPhone App; Google Voice Coming Soon?

Apple has just approved Toktumi’s iPhone app nearly three months after the iPhone app was originally submitted.

Toktumi’s iPhone app called Line2 adds a second number with voicemail to your iPhone.

The approval of Toktumi’s iPhone app is quite interesting as in many ways it’s similar to Google Voice iPhone app that Apple had rejected and resulted in a major fiasco in which even Federal Communications Commission (FCC) got involved.
