If you remember, Apple's iPhone television ad that said "all the parts of the internet are on the phone" was banned by UK's Advertising watchdog
back in August as they got complaints from some customers claiming that it gave a
misleading impression of the internet capabilities of the iPhone.
It had also prompted Apple to change the wordings of the iPhone 3G ads in UK to say "really fast" instead of "twice as fast" to avoid running into trouble again with U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority.
But it looks like that hasn't helped, as UK's Advertising watchdog has banned that ad as well after receiving 17 complaints that the commercial was "exaggerating the speed of iPhone 3G."

As you all know Apple announced the release date of the iPhone by rolling out 3 iPhone ads, if that was not enough for you, here is a iPhone spoof ad that shows the iPhone sitting in for the Monolith in this 2001: A Space Odyssey mashup.
A similar spoof video was also done on the iPod (2001 - A Space iPodyssey), so the iPhone (2001 - A Space iPhoneyssey??) definitely is in some good company.
The YouTube videos of the ads as well as some observations are available after the jump.

I haven't check to see if those movies are now all available in the iTunes Store. Maybe Apple is slowly announcing something new for the iTunes Store as well! Just guessing!
