At the WWDC Keynote on Monday, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi announced that iOS 7 SDK will includes more than 1500 new APIs for developers.
If you’re a hardcore gamer, then the good news is that Apple has added APIs for MFi (Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad) game controllers.
Here’s some good news for Plants vs. Zombies fans. PopCap, the developer of the popular iOS game has just announced that the sequel titled Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time will be available in the App Store on July 18.
PopCap has also announced that the game will be available for free, but we’re assuming that it offer in-app purchases.
Dots, the popular and highly addictive puzzle game, which we reviewed recently has just received an update.
Though Apple TV’s sales have been picking up, Apple hasn’t yet released an SDK for the platform to open it to third party developers. Instead, developers have been using the iOS SDK to pair devices with the Apple TV using AirPlay, the most notable example being Real Racing.

2K Games has announced that it will be bringing the game to the iPhone and iPad this summer, according to a report on IGN.
EA’s widely anticipated game Real Racing 3 has hit the New Zealand and Australian App Stores, earlier than the expected date of 28th February. The game was first shown at Apple’s iPhone 5 launch event in September and has since been teased in multiple videos by the development studio.

EA Games has just slashed prices of over 55 iPhone and iPad games by up to 90% as part of the President’s Day Sale.
Popular games such as Need for Speed Most Wanted, which made it to the App Store best of 2012 and Dead Space, which was voted as the best iPad Game of 2011 by Apple are available for only $0.99.
