Apple maybe working to fix a serious security flaw on iPhone which might allow an attacker to run software code on the iPhone that is sent by SMS over a mobile operator's network.
Security researcher Charlie Miller who is an authority on MacOS X security announced this last Thursday at the SyScan Conference in Singapore. Miller is also the co-author of The Mac Hacker’s Handbook.

The iPhone Dev Team had released redSn0w to jailbreak iPhone 3G and UltraSn0w to unlock iPhone 3G couple of weeks back.
Today they have released an updated version of redSn0w (version: 0.8) which can also jailbreak iPhone 3GS.
Dev Team has also released an updated version of UltraSn0w (version: 0.8) which can unlock Apple's third generation iPhone.
So with this, the Dev team has released updated version of their tools which support all iPhones and iPod Touches running iPhone OS 3.0.

Apple has filed a patent application with US patent office called Multi-touch display screen with localized tactile feedback.

Though the iPhone 3G S launch seemed to be a lot better than last year's iPhone 3G launch, one of our readers, Gerrard had sent us an email to tell us that he was not able to activate his iPhone 3G S and was being told that the activation could take up 48 hours.

AT&T has announced that they will be extending the eligibility window for determining which existing iPhone 3G customers are eligible for upgrade pricing on the iPhone 3G S.
It means that some existing iPhone 3G customers will not have to pay the premium of $200 on the purchase of a new iPhone 3G S.
