Hey folks, I am back, sorry couldn’t update the site in the last few days as I was traveling. So this makes it the perfect time to do a roundup on the news, rumors and speculations from last week. Late last week we did have Apple announcing the official release date of the iPhone with the roll out of 3 iPhone ads.

I am back to recap all the news, rumors and speculations about the iPhone in the last one week (May 28th to June 3rd, 2007). The good thing about last week was that we did get some iPhone news rather than just iPhone rumors; especially the news about the release date of the iPhone yesterday which was confirmed by Ads available on Apple’s website that the iPhone will be launched on June 29th.
All this is only building more expectations for what some have called “the God machine” and its safe to say that the iPhone hysteria is beginning to reach levels usually reserved for video-game machines at Christmas. If May’s craze was "American Idol" then June’s will be the Apple iPhone, which I can already sense is inevitable.

As we are getting closer to the iPhone launch, the iPhone news and rumors only seem to get louder.
In the third week of May, we had rumors about AT&T CEO giving away the first iPhone pre-launch in a low-key event based on a video footage, an internal AT&T memo revealing critical information about the iPhone, then of course probably the unforgettable event of a fake internal memo claiming "iPhone to be delayed" sending Apple stock plunging, news of Apple getting FCC approval and also news that the iPhone will be available exclusively at 2000 Apple & AT&T retail stores on launch.
I had written in one of my posts that the 3rd week of May was probably the week of iPhone rumors since its announcement in January. However, the 4th week was even more eventful with a lot of news and rumors on the Apple iPhone.
