Apple's Patent For 'Grab and Go' System to Make Syncing More Efficient

Apple has filed a patent that strives to make cross platform syncing more easy and quick

If you thought syncing your iPhone was easy, think again. This is because Apple is working on a system that strives to make cross-platform syncing much more simple and quicker. 

Folks at AppleInsider have unearthed a patent filed by Apple in September last year where the company talks of a system called 'Grab and Go' that primarily offers a way to sync only relevant and specific content among the various Apple platforms like the iPhone, iMac, Apple TV, Apple Remote, etc.

Verizon proudly flaunts Droid's 5 megapixel camera in the "Droid Does" ad campaign where it mocked iPhone's camera with the line "iDon't take 5-megapixel pictures". But is the Droid camera indeed better than iPhone 3GS's camera? 

Andy Ihnatko, a tech columnist at Chicago Sun has countered the argument with actual camera shots. A picture is worth a thousand words indeed.

iPhone Syncing Problem Reported With Intel P55 Powered Windows 7 Computers

iPhone syncing problem with PC running Windows 7 and Intel P55 chipset

A lot many iPhone users have been reporting on the Apple Support forum that they have been facing trouble in syncing their iPhones to iTunes 9. 

The root cause of this issue is yet to be resolved, however, based on the complainants' computer configurations, it is doubted to be an issue with Windows 7 built with Intel P55 chipset.

iPhone Backup Extractor Helps iPhone Developers Debug Bugs

Developer Pádraig Kennedy has released the iPhone Backup Extractor which converts the iPhone backups created by iTunes into Mac OS X files that you can browse, examine, etc.

Pádraig was the author of the Python script that was used by iPhone developers to extract data from the .mdbackup files. With iPhone Backup Extractor Pádraig has wrapped an easy-to-use GUI around the process to make it a lot easier.

The utility allows iPhone developers to debug customer bugs.

iPhone Dev Team Releases Updated QuickPwn Tool to Jailbreak iPhone running Firmware 2.0, 2.0.1 and 2.0.2

The iPhone Dev Team had recently released a tool called QuickPwn which made it easier and quicker to jailbreak iPhone running firmware 2.0.1.

As promised they have released an updated version of QuickPwn which can now be used to jailbreak iPhone running firmware 2.0, 2.0.1 and also iPhone firmware 2.0.2 which was released last week.
