Revised iPhone 4 and iPod Touch Appear In Apple’s Inventory System

Right before Apple’s media event scheduled for October 4th, 9 to 5 Mac reports that Apple’s internal inventory systems have been updated to include revised models of the iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch in their database. The databases now include references to two tweaked iPhone 4 models and three new iPod Touch models.

iPod Touch 5G Will Only Get A Minor Update This Year?

MacRumors reports that the next generation iPod touch will only get a minor update this year.

According to the information MacRumors has received, the fifth generation iPod touch will come with similar hardware as the current generation iPod touch along with oleophobic coating for the display and a revised ambient light sensor. MacRumors also reports that Apple will also introduce a white iPod touch like iPhone.

New Claims Of 3G iPod Touch

We’ve heard rumors of Apple introducing a 3G equipped iPod Touch in the past, and now fresh claims of such a product featuring in Apple’s line up for its September/October media event have surfaced. The first of these rumors originated when a Dutch site, AppleSpot.nl citing anonymous sources claimed that such a device existed, after which a few other evidences were found in iOS 5 and on Apple’s site.
