As if that wasn't enough, the developers of the jailbreak app have now taken this project one step ahead.
In a newly released demo, the developers show how you may also connect a mouse and a virtual keyboard to your iPhone. This application is built on top of the BTStack project as in the earlier Keyboard app and lets the users move elements on the iPhone using a Magic mouse and type on the iPhone using a Celluon CL800BT virtual keyboard (which projects onto and responds to your touch of any flat surface).
Check out the impressive demo below:
While the idea is pretty cool and interesting, not many users would want to use a mouse for navigating through their iPhone. But that doesn't seem to be the objective of the developers either. An application like this could be further enhanced over time to create platforms that will help remote users control mobile phones for utilities that are far more worthwhile.
The iPhone app is still not out for public download and it is likely to be open-sourced as the earlier Keyboard app. But we would be interested in hearing your first thoughts about this. What do you think of such an app? Do tell us in the comments.
