Apple Releases iTunes 10.1; Brings Support For AirPlay And iOS 4.2

Apple has just released iTunes 10.1, which according to the release notes brings support for AirPlay and iOS 4.2.

iOS 4.2 was initially expected to be released today but has been delayed due to Wi-Fi connectivity issues reported by developers in iOS 4.2 GM version.

iTunes 10.1 includes the following changes as per the release notes:

• Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.
• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.
• Provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.

You can download iTunes 10.0.1 from this link or via Apple Software update. It is available for  Mac OS X 10.5 and higher and Windows (32-bit and 64 bit) and is 90.90MB in size.
