AT&T Preparing For iPhone 5 Launch In Early to Mid-September

iPhone 5

We’ve heard several rumors and speculations recently, which indicate that Apple will launch iPhone 5 in the August to September timeframe.

We’ve also heard that Apple is increasing the staffing in its Retail Stores in the U.S. and UK around this time.

Now BGR reports that according to their sources, AT&T – one of Apple’s iPhone partners in the U.S. is preparing for an early to mid September launch of the next generation iPhone.

BGR reports:

BGR has exclusively learned that AT&T has begun communicating launch plans internally for Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5 handset. We have been told that AT&T has begun informing employees across the company, and those who work in retail locations, to finish any sort of employee training as soon as possible. AT&T is asking managers to finish training in order to have employees available for the influx of foot traffic expected in September, a proven source has shared with us.

Apple’s iPhone 5 is expected to come pre-installed with iOS 5 – their next generation mobile operating system and based on the open issues in the current iOS 5 beta, an ETA of early or mid September seems more likely than mid-August launch as some reports have suggested.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the new iPhone. What about you?
