Apple has started sending out invitations for a media event next Tuesday, October 4th, with the tagline “Let’s Talk iPhone”, clearly suggesting that Apple plans to introduce the much awaited next generation iPhone at the media event.
The graphics of the invitation shows iOS icons for Calendar, Clock, Maps, and Phone.
The media event will be held at the company’s Town Hall auditorium at its headquarters in Cupertino, California and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

Apple is widely expected to launch the next generation iPhone, though it is not clear if Apple will unveil a redesigned iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S that looks like iPhone 4 but comes with improved hardware such as faster A5 chip that powers iPad 2, 8-megapixel camera etc, or if Apple launches both as some reports have suggested. Apple is expected to launch the new iPod product line, which might only get a minor upgrade this year and also announce the release dates for iOS 5 and iCloud.
We can’t wait to find out what Apple has in store for us. How about you?
