Apple Seeds OS X 10.7.2 Build 11C71 And iWork For iOS Beta 4 To Developers

iOS 5

With less than 3 days to go for Apple’s media event where Apple is expected to unveil iPhone 5 and also announce the release date for iOS 5 and iCloud, Apple has seeded OS X Lion 10.7.2 (build 11c71) and iWork for iOS beta 4 to developers for testing.

Apple had seeded iTunes 10.5 Beta 9 to developers yesterday.

According to the release notes, the new OS X Lion 10.7.2 build includes improvements to Lion Recovery and addresses an issue with Find My Mac when using a firmware password. There is no known issue in the new build.

It is not clear what has been fixed in iWork for iOS beta 4 as release notes are not available.

AppleInsider reports that Apple also sent out email to developers, but it seems to have been sent prematurely as the link in the email isn’t working. You can checkout the screenshot of the email below:

It is widely speculated that Apple will release iOS 5 along with iCloud, OS X Lion 10.7.2, iTunes 10.5 and iWork for iOS in the second week of October.
