Building on the Siri Proxy source released by developer plamoni, @ninja98 released a plugin that lets Dreambox owners control their TV sets via Siri. Dreambox is a Linux powered set top box, which because of its Linux roots, is fairly easy to tweak.

It has been disappointing to see that Apple has still not launched an App Store for the second generation Apple TV.
While hackers had figured out a way to get a weather app to run successfully on a jailbroken Apple TV back in October 2010, there hasn’t been much progress made on that front.
