If you have been waiting for Tapbots to launch a Mac version of Tweetbot – their hugely popular Twitter client and our favorite apps, then we’ve some good news for you.
We’ve finally got a confirmation that they’re working on Tweetbot for Mac.
Tapbots designer Mark Jardine tweeted photos of Tweetbot for Mac running on his new MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
While we have always wanted Tapbots to release the Tweetbot app for the Mac, it has became a must-have after they introduced the iCloud feature that syncs timeline positions across all instances of Tweetbot.
As you can see in the screenshot below, it looks like the navigation bar on the left is similar to the iPad app (in portrait mode).
Can’t speak about future apps, but here’s a higher res image so you can see the details of the Retina MBP screen. d.pr/i/4FVg

Mark hasn’t provided any further details. So we still don’t know when it will be released and for how much. But we’re assuming it will be soon.
We’re excited that Tweetbot is finally coming to the Mac so that we don’t have to manually sync the timeline position on our Mac. What about you?
