TinyUmbrella Updated to Support iOS 6.1.1 For iPhone 4S

notcom a.k.a semaphore has released a new version of TinyUmbrella (v6.10.03a) to add support for iOS 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S that was released few days back.

TinyUmbrella allows you to take backups of SHSH blobs (ECID SHSH) that can be used to downgrade to older iOS versions even after Apple stops signing the iOS firmware file.

It also supports iOS 6.1 for all the iOS 6.1 compatible devices, so if you haven’t taken a backup of the SHSH blobs then it may be a good time to take it as Apple is widely expected to release iOS 6.1.2 to fix the iPhone passcode security flaw and the Microsoft Exchange bug this week.

Even though Apple has made things a lot more complicated when it comes to downgrading to the previous version with the help of SHSH blobs with the release of iOS 6.0, it is always a good practise for jailbreakers to take a backup of the SHSH blobs.

If you need help, then check out our step-by-step tutorial on how to save SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella.

As always, let us know how it goes.
