Hacker Claims To Have Discovered Exploits For iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak

With the release of iOS 6.1.3, Apple killed the evasi0n jailbreak by fixing several vulnerabilities, which were used by the evad3rs team.

evad3rs team have been relatively quite about the possibility of releasing a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, except for saying that there is at least one vulnerability that was used by evasi0n that hasn’t been patched.

Interestingly, iOS hacker Joshua Hill aka p0sixninja, a former member of the Chronic Dev team claims that he has discovered all the exploits required for the next jailbreak. Chronic Dev team has released popular jailbreak tools such as greenpois0n and absinthe.

Few hours back, p0sixninja tweeted:

p0sixninja is yet to provide any proof, which confirms he has managed to successfully jailbreak a device on iOS 6.1.3, so we don’t want to get your hopes up.

It also remains to be seen if he’ll release the jailbreak soon or wait for the iOS 7 to be released, as releasing a jailbreak now will mean that Apple will fix the vulnerabilities in iOS 7.

However, there is always a risk of Apple fixing the loop hole in iOS 7, as there is quite a long time left for it to be released to the public.
