Apple releases iOS 7 Beta 4 to developers


We’ve just got the news that Apple has seeded the fourth beta version of iOS 7 to developers of iOS Developer Program.

Apple unveiled iOS 7 at WWDC 2013 Keynote address on June 10th. It features a completely redesigned interface and new features such as Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, smarter multitasking, iTunes Radio and lots more.

Apple had seeded the first beta version of iOS 7 immediately after the WWDC 2013 Keynote on June 10th, iOS 7 beta 2 on June 24th and iOS 7 beta 3 on July 8th.

iOS 7 beta 4 seems to be available via OTA update currently. It is available for the following iOS devices:

  • iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4
  • iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPad mini
  • iPod touch 5G

Update 1:

The build number of iOS 7 beta 4 is 11A4435d. The download size seems to vary from 200MB to 264MB.

We’re getting reports that the OTA update seems to be working for non-developers as well.

Apple has also released Apple TV Software beta 3, Xcode 5 Developer Preview 4 and iTunes 11.1 beta 1.

iOS 7 beta 4 expires on Thursday, September 12.
