Apple releases OS X Mavericks GM to Mac Developers

Apple has just seeded OS X Mavericks GM (build: 13A598), the next major update for OS X to all Mac Developers.

Apple had seeded OS X Mavericks preview 8 just over two weeks back.

OS X Mavericks includes major new features such as Finder tabs, document tags, better multiple display support, improvements to Safari, new Maps app, new iBooks app and lots more.

Developers can download the OS X Mavericks GM seed by logging into Mac Dev Center.

Apple has also seeded GM build of Xcode 5.0.1, so that developers can use it build and submit apps for Mavericks. Apple has also released an update for iPhoto 9.4.7 that “addresses an issue that could cause iPhoto to quit unexpectedly on launch when running OS X Mavericks GM Seed.”

If you’re a developer, let us know how it goes and if you’ve found anything interesting.

There have been rumors that Apple will release OS X Mavericks in late October, but now that the GM has been seeded it could be released as early next week.
