Prospective iPhone customers now have another carrier from which to choose when they are shopping for a new handset. Starting today, US Cellular is joining the major wireless carriers and Boost Mobile by carrying both the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. The new handsets are available online at US Cellular’s website and in stores.
Customers looking to buy the iPhone 5s can spend $199.99 for the 16GB model, $299.99 for the 32GB model and $399.99 for the 64GB model. These prices require a new two-year customer agreement. The iPhone 5c is $100 less than the 5s, with a price tag of $99.99 for the 16GB model and $199.99 for the 32GB model with a contract. The carrier is also selling the iPhone 4s for a penny.
Customers who purchase an iPhone 5s or 5c can use the devices on US Cellular’s LTE network. They also can also take advantage of the carrier’s new shared data plans, which provide an allotment of data along with unlimited calling minutes and messaging.
