US: NBC Sports Live Extra

In the US, NBC is the official TV partner for the Winter Olympics. You can download the NBC Sports Live Extra app from the App Store to watch the live stream for free. The catch is that you’ll need to be a cable subscriber, or else you can just see 30 minutes of video.

UK: BBC iPlayer/BBC Sport

In the UK, you’ll be able to watch the Sochi Winter Olympics on your iPhone or iPad using the BBC Sport app. In addition to the live stream, the app will also let you listen to BBC Radio, and follow other sports. You could also watch the live stream on the BBC iPlayer app, by setting up the BBC 1 and BBC 2 channels, where the events would be aired.

Canada: CBC Olympics
