Auxo 2 will be released on April 2nd

We’ve some good news for Auxo fans. A3tweaks, developers of Auxo have hinted that they will be releasing Auxo 2, the next major of the popular jailbreak tweak on April 2nd.

In case you’re not aware, Auxo was an awesome replacement for the app switcher, which replaced the app icons in the app switcher with a card-like preview of the current state of the app, a feature that Apple added only in iOS 7.

They had released couple of videos to give us a glimpse of what to expect in the new version. Auxo 2 looks to be a lot more than a simple iOS 7 port of its predecessor. It will have a swipe from bottom gesture to activate the multitasking interface, a “single-input quick app switching,” and the ability to close all apps running the background. It will also integrate the Control Center in the card-based multitasking interface.

A3tweaks have released another awesome video on their website to highlight some of the features of Auxo 2. We’ve embedded a copy of the video courtesy YouTube user Andrew Roth.

The image at the end of the demo video reveals that Auxo 2 will be released on April 2nd.

A3tweaks has already said that Auxo 2 will be a paid upgrade for existing users, since it is a complete rewrite and doesn’t share any code with the older version.

Auxo 2 looks great, and I can’t wait to check it out. Let me know what you think in the comments.
