Purported photos of iPhone 6 show thinner design, rounded edges, protruding camera

Images of what appear to be an iPhone 6 in development have been leaked on Chinese social network Weibo. The images show the iPhone 6 with a thinner, but taller and wider design, and a protruding camera, like the current-gen iPod touch.

The iPhone 6 in the leaked images seems to be in line with the rumors we’ve seen till now, that predict a device with a larger screen, and a thinner body. The device also seems to have rounded corners compared to iPhone 5s’ chamfered edges.

The images reportedly originate from Foxconn, where the iPhone 6 will be manufactured.

Along with photos of the body, the leaker has also posted a low-resolution screen capture of the iPhone 6’s specifications, embedded below, but not much can be made out of it:

The iPhone 6 is rumored to come in two variants — one with a 4.7-inch display, and the other with a 5.5-inch display, with an A8 chip, a Sapphire glass display, and a thinner design. Rumors claim that the device might be launched as soon as June this year.

Takes these images with a pinch of salt, of course, since its authenticity isn’t verified.
