Survey suggests strong consumer interest for an iPhone with a bigger screen

iPhone 6 Survey

According to a survey conducted by ChangeWave, the large screen iPhone is already building plenty of interest among early adopters as well as seasoned consumers. This is to show that Apple is certainly headed in the right direction with its rumored 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch iPhones that are slated to launch later this year.

From the survey conducted, 40% of the people responded with ‘very likely’ or ‘somewhat likely’ to get an iPhone with a bigger screen, an updated version of iOS and a faster processor for a $199 contract price.

Andy Golub of 451 Research said – “This is the highest level of demand for an unannounced Apple model in a ChangeWave survey – stronger than we’ve seen in previous years for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5 models prior to their announcements. Speculation over a larger screen iPhone is clearly striking a chord with consumers.”

The Cupertino based company is expected to launch the 5.5 inch iPhone shortly after the September announcement of the 4.7 inch iPhone 6. Internal slides accessed from Apple’s ongoing patent trial with Samsung have revealed that the market desires phones with larger displays, indicating that the company is gearing up to take that step.
