Rumors suggest Apple is working on a larger 12.9-inch iPad that’ll debut sometime later this year. The device will reportedly be targeted towards professional customers and the enterprise. Ramotion Inc made an iPad Pro concept based on these rumors, imagining how the device would look and be marketed.
The concept imagines the iPad Pro with high-end specs including 2 64-bit A7 chips, a 12.9-inch display with a resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels, an 8MP rear-camera hidden in the Apple logo, and a MagSafe-like magnetic charger with an LED indicator.
The concept also shows the iPad Pro with three front-cameras for 3D video calling. These cameras will record video from different angles, much like the Seene app. It also opens up the possibility of features like eye tracking and gesture control.
The concept also has side-by-side multitasking, keeping in mind the “Pro” nomenclature.
The two apps aren’t just two silo’ed apps running by side by side. They can interact with each other, and share data via gestures:
One of the main areas where iOS currently lacks is inter-app communication and file-sharing, two very important features for pro users. This concept does a really good job at imagining how these features might be implemented. Let us know what you think about it in the comments below.[via Behance]
