We told you about an issue with the OS X 10.9.3 update yesterday, that caused the /Users folder to disappear from Finder. Turns out the issue was actually due to iTunes 11.2, released on the same day, and Apple has released an update to fix the issue.
iTunes 11.2.1 was released, and here’s how Apple describes the bug that it fixed in the update:
The folders listed below might appear to be missing after installing iTunes 11.2 on OS X Mavericks. This can happen if you have Find My Mac enabled in iCloud System Preferences.
The update is available for OS X 10.6.3 and up, and can be downloaded directly from this link (224MB) or you can check the “Updates” tab on the Mac App Store to install iTunes 11.2.1.
