Here’s a list of the 24 new dictation languages supported in OS X Yosemite and iOS 8


Apple announced yesterday that dictation in both iOS and Mac OS X will now be supporting 24 completely new languages. We did a roundup of the lesser-mentioned features coming with iOS 8, and our readers asked us which languages Apple will now be including. We heard you, and you can find the full list of new languages below.

The languages themselves can be found on the left, with their specific country variation in parentheses. You may notice that there are actually only 23 languages on this list, but there were two different country variations added for Portuguese: Brazil, and Portugal.
