Camera+, one of the most popular third-party camera apps on the App Store, has been updated to version 6.0 with support for new features introduced in iOS 8.
The highlight of this release are the manual camera controls, which Apple exposed via the new APIs in the iOS 8 SDK.
You can now manually set the focus by adjusting the focus wheel, to go from focusing to nearby objects to ones that are raw away.
You can also manually set the exposure level with the exposure wheel to make your shot light or dark. Additionally, you can also adjust shutter speed and ISO.
iOS 8 lets you use editing features from third-party apps right within the Photos app. With this update, you can edit photos in the Photos app with Camera+’s new Photo Extension:
Other editing features include:
- White Balance
- Macro shooting mode
- Shutter Priority
If the app hasn’t been automatically updated, you can download the update via the Updates tab in the App Store app or use the iTunes link below.
