Just a week after going on pre-orders, Apple’s latest iPads — the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 — have started started making their way to customers hands and retail stores.
Many customers who pre-ordered the tablet in Australia and the United Kingdom have already made got their hands on the tablet and even posted unboxing videos of it. Thankfully, the iPad Air 2 box is not blank from the front and has a side profile representation of the iPad with the color ordered by the customer.
Retail stores are expected to recieve stocks of at least the Wi-Fi only model today. According to The Inquirer though, the new iPad(s) will be available in “limited supply.”
If you go the online route, Apple Stores have a shipping period of 2-4 days for the iPad Air 2. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi only iPad mini will ship within 24 hours while the LTE variant will ship inside 1-3 days.
The iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 reviews were released yesterday, and the former was praised for its speedy A8X chip, which makes it the fastest iOS device on the planet for now. The iPad mini 3, however, has been termed as an overpriced disappointment by many.[Via The Inquirer]
