Apple releases iOS 8.2 beta 3 to developers

iOS 8.2 logoA week after releasing iOS 8.2 beta 2, Apple today seeded iOS 8.2 beta 3 to registered developers of the iOS developer program.

iOS 8.2 adds support for WatchKit, the developer SDK for the Apple Watch. Developers can make Glances, Notifications and WatchKit apps with the new SDK.

iOS 8.2 beta 3 is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 and iPod touch (fifth-generation).

The beta release is available as an Over-the-air (OTA) update on devices running iOS 8.2 beta 2, and is available on the Dev Center as well. Here are the direct download links to the firmware (Note that you need to be a registered iOS developer to download these files):

Alongside iOS 8.2, Apple is also testing a minor iOS 8.1.3 update, that will be released before iOS 8.2 is launched publicly.
